1. Information We Collect

When you create an account on Inner Bible, we collect:

  • Email address (for authentication and communication)
  • Name (if provided via Google OAuth)
  • Language preference
  • Subscription and payment information (processed by Stripe or Kiwify)

2. Information Generated Through Use

As you use Inner Bible, the following data is created and stored:

  • Mirror reflections (your inputs and AI-generated responses)
  • Decode sessions (your queries and AI-generated analyses)
  • Profile diagnostic answers and consciousness map results
  • Arc journey progress and written reflections
  • Daily Shift viewing history
  • Weekly Session content (annual plan)

This data is used exclusively to personalize your experience within the app. Your reflections and inputs are never shared with other users or third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and personalize the Inner Bible experience
  • To generate AI-powered psychological reflections based on your inputs
  • To track your journey progress and usage limits
  • To send transactional emails (welcome, account-related)
  • To send optional marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To process payments through our payment partners
  • To measure how visitors find and use Inner Bible (see section 8)

4. AI Processing

Inner Bible uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate personalized content. Your inputs are sent to the AI API for processing and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the immediate request. The AI-generated responses are stored in our database to provide your session history.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security enabled. Each user can only access their own data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

6. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe (for international users) and Kiwify (for Brazilian users). We do not store your credit card information. Payment data is handled entirely by these processors in accordance with their privacy policies. We keep a record of the amount, currency, plan and date of each payment to run the service and our internal reporting.

7. Third-Party Services

  • Kiwify — Payment processing (Brazil)
  • Resend — Email delivery
  • Vercel — Hosting
  • Google — OAuth authentication (optional)
  • Meta Platforms — Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel and Conversions API), only with your consent

8. Cookies, Analytics and Ad Measurement

  • Essential cookies — keep you signed in and remember your language. They are always on.
  • First-party analytics — we set an anonymous visitor identifier (ib_aid, 1 year) and, when you arrive from a link with campaign parameters, a first-visit attribution cookie (ib_attr, 90 days: campaign source/name and the Meta click id). We use them only to measure our own funnel (quiz completion, conversion, retention). This data stays in our database and is never sold.
  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API — only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, we load the Meta Pixel (which sets the _fbp / _fbc cookies) and may send sign-up and purchase events to Meta from our servers, including your email address and account id in hashed form (SHA-256), your IP address and browser user agent, so we can measure our ads. If you choose "Decline", nothing is sent to Meta.

Your choice is stored in the ib_consent cookie. To change it, clear the cookies for innerbible.app and the banner will appear again, or contact us.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export your data
  • Unsubscribe from marketing communications
  • Withdraw your consent to advertising measurement
  • Request correction of inaccurate data

10. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data including reflections, sessions, and profile information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

11. Children's Privacy

Inner Bible is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the app.
